Bio:
Russell Borne received a BFA in 2007 from Oregon State University. Upon graduation, Borne, has focused his art career in painting with oils and mixed media drawing while doing extensive outside work as a production artist for various commissions/corporations. He current resides in SE Portland, Oregon. Solo exhibitions of paintings and collages include West Gallery at Oregon State University in 2007, and Yaquina Art Gallery, Newport Oregon in 2006.

Graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Art History: June 2007

2010, April - The Onion video on display at the International small film festival of Estacada, (Teeny Tiny Film Festival)

2009, Aug - Solo exhibition at Cafe D'arte, NE Portland cafe / gallery space

2008, Sept - Group exhibition at the Portland Art Institute, displaying a new series paintings and drawings.

2007, June - Commissioned to created 2 original works of paint for a private collection

2006, Nov - Commissioned to create a large metal sculpture for New Life Nutrition, in Albany, Oregon

2006, Aug - Exhibited all original works of paintings in a space at the Yaquina Art Gallery in Newport, Oregon

2006, June - Selected to be displayed a painting in the Oregon State Senior Art Show
